MonoDesk is in beta. Here's what we built and why.
MonoDesk is now in free public beta. One calm workspace where freelance creatives manage clients, projects, tasks, and files without duct-taping five apps together.
TL;DR: MonoDesk is now in free public beta. It’s one calm workspace where freelance creatives manage clients, projects, tasks, and files without duct-taping five apps together.
If you’re a freelance creative, you already know the setup. Trello for tasks. Google Drive for files. A spreadsheet for clients. Slack for comms. Maybe Notion for notes, and Toggl if you’re trying to track time. Each tool works fine on its own. None of them talk to each other. You end up being the glue, copying information between tabs, hunting for the brief you saved somewhere, trying to remember which version of which file the client actually approved.
That’s the problem MonoDesk exists to solve.

MonoDesk is one workspace where everything about your work lives together. Clients, projects, tasks, files. In the beta you can use right now, that means four things:
Clients & Projects. Every client gets a profile. Every project lives under a client. No more mystery folders or scattered threads.
The Planner. A weekly view of your work across all active projects. Not a backlog. Your actual week, laid out by day.
The AI Agent. It handles the admin layer so you can stay in creative flow. Paste in a brief, get a task breakdown. Ask for a project summary, get one you can actually send to a client.
Teams. Invite collaborators, assign tasks, share projects. Simple enough to explain in one sentence.
We didn’t ship everything. We shipped the core loop first, deliberately. The pattern in software is to build until it’s complete, then launch. We’d rather put something useful in your hands now and build the rest with you.
MonoDesk is for freelance creatives and small studios. Designers, developers, videographers, anyone who runs the whole project from brief to invoice. If you’re wearing every hat, this is for you.
We’re not trying to be everything. We’re trying to be the one place that actually works, so you can spend less time managing your tools and more time doing the work you’re good at.
