Checklist before you leave the job

Date of service.
Brief description of work done ( "Replaced PRV, tested at 60 psi" ).
Warranty note on parts if applicable.
Payment due: on completion vs net 7 for property managers.
Common questions
- Cash jobs still need an invoice?
- Give a receipt-style invoice anyway. It protects you if they claim the work wasn't authorised.
- How do I show a quote vs actual?
- If parts cost more than quoted, add a line explaining the difference in the notes.
