Invoice templates that don't look like spreadsheets

Pick a layout, drop in your line items, and you're done. We built 20 templates from minimal to bold so your invoice matches how you actually present your work, not a default Excel grid.

A template should do the layout work so you can focus on the numbers.

Which template fits your work

Formal clients (law, finance, corporate) usually want Classic or Corporate: serif headings, restrained colour, room for long line descriptions.

Studios and freelancers often lean on Studio, Sidebar, or Gradient. More personality without looking unprofessional. Trades and retail? Receipt or Minimal keeps it tight and easy to read on a phone.

Customise without breaking the design

Accent colour, logo, and font scale all live in the editor. You're not locked into our demo copy. Swap every line item, tax label, and footer note.

Templates share the same data underneath. Switch from Minimal to Bold mid-edit and nothing disappears. Handy when you're A/B testing what a picky client responds to.

Checklist before you send

Invoice number and date filled in.

Client legal name matches their PO if they use one.

Line items match the quote they signed.

Payment details tested (wrong BSB ruins trust fast).

Due date and late policy stated if you have one.

Common questions

How many invoice templates are there?
Twenty. They range from compact receipt-style layouts to full editorial designs with sidebar summaries.
Can I save my template choice?
Your last session stays in the browser on that device. Share links encode line items and template ID so a colleague opens the same layout.
Do templates include tax and discount rows?
Yes. Toggle tax inclusive or exclusive, add a discount line, and show deposit or part-payment totals when billing in stages.
