Free quote generator

Quotes win work when they look professional and land fast. This generator gives you designed templates and clean math without a sales call or account setup.

Quote vs invoice (quick version)

A quote is an offer. An invoice is a bill. Send the quote first, get a yes, then invoice against what they approved. Mixing them confuses clients and hurts you at tax time.

What belongs on a good quote

Your details, client details, quote number, date, validity period ("valid 30 days"). Line items with quantities and rates, subtotal, tax, total, deposit if you take one upfront.

Terms: revision rounds, what's excluded, payment schedule. Short is fine. Silence is where scope creep lives.

After they say yes

Convert to an invoice in our Invoice Generator with one click if you quoted here, or duplicate the line items manually. Same numbers, less retyping.

Common questions

Is the quote generator free?
Unlimited quotes, no watermark, no account required. MonoDesk is optional if you want to track approvals and follow-ups.
Can clients sign the quote?
Export PDF and use your usual e-sign tool, or send a share link for review. Built-in e-sign is on our roadmap for MonoDesk, not this free page.
How long should quotes stay valid?
30 days is standard for project work. Shorter for material-heavy trades where prices move.
