The Planner is more useful when it knows about your meetings. MonoDesk can show events from **Google Calendar**, **Outlook / Microsoft 365**, **Apple iCloud Calendar**, or any calendar that offers a subscription link (.ics / webcal).

## Where to find it

Open the **Planner** and MonoDesk offers to connect a calendar the first time, or go to **Settings → Feature settings → Calendar** at any time. Each provider has its own card, and you can connect more than one.

## Google Calendar

Click **Connect** on the Google card and sign in with your Google account. Then pick which calendars to show in the Planner.

## Outlook / Microsoft 365

Click **Connect** on the **Outlook / Microsoft 365** card and sign in with your Microsoft account. Personal (Outlook.com) and work or school accounts both work. Choose the calendars you want under **Calendars to show**.

## Apple iCloud Calendar

Apple doesn't offer a "Sign in with Apple" option for calendars, so iCloud uses an **app-specific password**, a separate password just for MonoDesk.

1. Go to [account.apple.com](https://account.apple.com), sign in, and open **Sign-In and Security → App-Specific Passwords**.
2. Create a new password (name it something like "MonoDesk") and copy it.
3. In MonoDesk, on the **iCloud Calendar** card, enter your **Apple Account email** and paste the **app-specific password**.
4. Click **Connect iCloud**, then choose the calendars to show.

Your normal Apple password won't work here; it has to be an app-specific one. MonoDesk stores it encrypted and only uses it to read your calendars. You can revoke it from your Apple Account at any time.

## Any other calendar (subscription link)

Using Fastmail, Proton, Zoho, a booking tool, or a shared team calendar? If it gives you an **.ics** or **webcal** link, paste it under **Calendar subscriptions → Calendar by URL** and optionally give it a name. Subscribed calendars refresh periodically, so changes may take a little while to show up.

## What it does (and doesn't do)

- Events show **read-only** in your week
- **Nothing is written back** to your calendar; MonoDesk never creates, edits or deletes your events
- Tasks stay tasks, events stay events; you just see both in one place
- You can disconnect any provider from its card in **Settings → Feature settings → Calendar**
